The National President of the National Council for Women in Society (NCWS), Princess D.D. Azura, joined First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON and others in Gombe State for the launch of the “Flow with Confidence” initiative. The programme aims to provide menstrual hygiene packs to schoolgirls nationwide, promoting menstrual health and education. Princess Azura’s presence demonstrated NCWS’s commitment to supporting women’s and girls’ empowerment, education, and well-being.

During the two-day visit to Gombe, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu was also honoured with the traditional title of Sarauniya Yakin Kumo (Queen Warrior of Kumo) by the Emir of Akko, Alhaji Umaru Muh’ud Atiku, in recognition of her contributions to national development.
