Dear Esteemed Members of the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Nigeria, and the Entirety of Nigerian Women at Home and in Diaspora,

As Christians across Nigeria and the world commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) Nigeria extends warm Easter greetings to all Nigerians, especially the resilient women of our great nation. It is with great joy and a deep sense of hope that I celebrate this sacred season with you.

Easter is a powerful reminder of sacrifice, love, and the triumph of light over darkness. The death of Christ on the cross was not the end—it was the beginning of redemption, healing, and restoration. This season calls us to reflect on the enduring values of resilience, unity, and faith—virtues that Nigerian women continue to embody in our homes, communities, and nation at large.

Jesus’ sacrifice speaks deeply to the heart of motherhood, womanhood, and leadership. As women who carry families, communities, and even this nation in many unseen ways, Easter reminds us that through pain, there can be purpose; through loss, there can be life again.
