NCWS Hails Launch of Renewed Hope Social Impact Programme, Commends Minister for Championing Women’s Empowerment

The National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Nigeria, congratulates the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, on the successful launch of the Renewed Hope Social Impact Programme for Women, Children & Families, inaugurated by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

This transformative programme marks a major milestone in the empowerment of Nigerian women, children, and families. With targeted interventions in agriculture, clean energy, health, and small business support, it speaks directly to the needs of women across all 36 states and the FCT.

We particularly commend the four key components—Women Agro-Value Expansion (WAVE), Power Her Up 774, Clean Cooking Initiative, and the Women’s Economic Empowerment Programme—which will empower millions of women with tools, capital, and safer living conditions.

NCWS is proud of the Honourable Minister’s visionary leadership and tireless efforts to amplify the voices of women and create tangible change. Her work continues to inspire confidence and hope in communities across Nigeria.

On behalf of Nigerian women, we salute this bold achievement and reaffirm our continued support to advance gender equality and national development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Signed:
Princess Edna D.D. Azura (Kwatam Mutaku)
National President, NCWS Nigeria
