NCWS Mourns the Passing of FCT Head of Civil Service, Mrs. Grace Adayilo

The National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Nigeria, under the leadership of our National President, Princess Edna D.D. Azura, received with deep shock and sorrow the sad news of the passing of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory, Mrs. Grace Adayilo.

Her sudden demise is not only a painful loss to her beloved family but also to the FCT Administration, the Government, and indeed, the entire nation. On behalf of all Nigerian women, we mourn this irreparable loss and pay tribute to a trailblazer who made history as the first female and first indigenous Head of Service of the FCT. She served with distinction, dedication, and uncommon commitment, leaving behind a legacy of integrity and excellence in public service.

She will be remembered as a shining symbol of courage, resilience, and leadership. Mrs. Adayilo broke barriers and opened doors of possibility for women in public service, inspiring generations to believe that women too can rise to the highest levels of governance.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, the FCT Administration, and the Federal Government of Nigeria. We pray that Almighty God will comfort all who mourn her and grant her soul eternal rest.
